Pilates... Full Body Conditioning
The Pilates Method of body conditioning was developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900's. Exercise is performed on a mat and/or various apparatus that provide a low impact environment that facilitates and challenges proper form and alignment. This method of body conditioning coordinates full body, sequenced exercises with focused breathing patterns. Pilates emphasizes core stability providing a foundation for optimal movement patterns.
